Display

Immerse yourself in the large 6.5-inch Infinity-O Display of Galaxy A21s is the statement used to describe the display here. But what strikes at first glance is that hole punch wherein the selfie camera lies. We are talking about a PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen here with 16M color support. Samsung will no longer be making IPS displays since sometime this (2020) year. So we see a PLS TFT screen instead. It is a 6.5 inches display that covers an area of 102.0 cm2. The 720 x 1600 pixels display resolution however is something to murmur about given the price of Samsung Galaxy A21s.

Platform

The Exynos 850, which is the latest entry-level SoC by Samsung. It is built on the 8nm LPP process, packs eight Cortex-A55 cores with a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz, and doesn’t support any sort of 5G – source. This is the chipset Galaxy A21s comes with. The phone also has an Octa-core (4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 & 4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) CPU and a Mali-G52 GPU.

Samsung Galaxy A21s is an Android 10 powered device with Samsung‘s One UI 2.0 skin on top of Android. This too is the case with Samsung Galaxy A11. The phone comes in three storage option i.e 32GB 3GB RAM, 64GB 4GB RAM and 64GB 6GB RAM.

Speaking of internal storage options. You will be pleased to learn that there is a dedicated slot for storage expansion on the Galaxy A21s. This means you will not have to sacrifice a SIM slot for that microSDXC (up to 512 GB). The internal storage is also of eMMC 5.1 infrastructure. Galaxy A21s cameras

The catchline of Samsung Galaxy A21s’s camera is, “A Quad Cam lets you shoot with more perspective.” You get to go ultra high-res with a 48MP Main Cam for crisp, clear photos day and night and a 123° 8MP Ultra Wide Cam captures more of the view. This is not all. There are two other camera lenses on the back panel as you can see in the product image above. They are a 2 MP, f/2.4, (macro), and a 2 MP, f/2.4, (depth sensor).

Onboard still is a 13MP selfie (front camera) that gives you clear, high-resolution photos. And with Live focus present with it, the selfie will have a gently blurred background. What we are dealing with here is 1080p@30fps video recording for both the main and front-facing cameras (see also Galaxy A31).

Battery

Actual battery life may vary depending on the network environment, usage patterns, and other factors. But Samsung Galaxy A21s 5000 mAh battery should last a whole day of usage with ease. Its rated (minimum) capacity is 4,900 mAh. Samsung has also included a fast charging 15W capability here to ensure the wait time while charging is reduced. Oppo A92 is another great example of a phone with a long-lasting battery.
